Isaac is the first child from the orphanage to make it to university.
Isaac is the first child from the orphanage to progress to university. He is now studying at Day Star University, Nairobi. He will initially complete a foundation degree before beginning a three year journalism degree.
Previously, Isaac was the eldest child at the orphanage, age 21, He had taken on the task of selling the spare eggs produced by the chickens at the orphanage to local customers, making the deliveries by a bicycle provided by the charity.
He will continue to have a place at the orphanage to head back to during the university holidays until he moves on following his studies. We are so proud to see him progress and wish him lots of luck! We know he feels very privileged to be at university and is working very hard. We’ll keep a track of his progress over the coming years.
